How it works

  1. Fill the jar with cooking oil and set the lid on.

Good to know

The brush head is silicone and the lid is plastic, so brush the hot pan and bring the lid straight back to the jar rather than resting it on the grill. Hand wash; we have not confirmed it is dishwasher safe.

Questions

Does the brush sit in the oil all the time? No. Slide the button up and the bristles rest above the oil line. Slide it down only when you want to dip.

Will the lid drip when I lift it? The brush holds a thin coat, not a scoop, because you dip it rather than pour. Lift it straight up and over the pan.

Can I use it on the grill? Yes. Brush the grate or the food, then take the lid back to the jar. Keep the plastic lid off the hot grill itself.

What oils work? Any cooking oil you would brush: olive, vegetable, avocado, melted butter. Rinse the brush when you switch.

How do I clean it? Rinse the lid and brush under warm water and rinse the jar separately. Let them dry before refilling.
