How it works

1. Press the base onto a smooth counter and twist the knob to lock the suction.
2. Slide in the drum you want (fine, coarse or slice) and tighten the handle clockwise.
3. Drop the food in the hopper, hold the pusher on top, and turn the crank.

Cold, firm cheese gives the cleanest shreds. Soft or room-temperature cheese can pack inside the drum, so chill it first.

Questions

Will it stick to my counter? Yes on smooth surfaces such as quartz, granite, laminate, glass or tile. It will not hold on heavily textured or wooden boards.

What can I put in it? Hard and semi-hard cheese, carrots, cucumber, zucchini, radish, potato, cabbage, nuts, chocolate and dry bread for crumbs. Skip soft cheese, tomatoes and anything watery.

Is it hard to clean? No. Everything pulls apart and rinses under the tap. The drums are stainless steel and will not rust with normal use.

Is it dishwasher safe? We recommend a quick hand rinse for the body and hopper, which keeps the plastic clear and the suction cup soft. The stainless drums can go on the top rack.
