Quick Thaw Defrosting Box
Forgot to take dinner out of the freezer? Set it on the tray, press one button, and moving air does what the counter cannot.
A frozen steak on the counter sits in a pocket of its own cold air, so it thaws slowly. This box keeps room air moving across the meat, and moving air pulls that cold pocket away. No microwave, so the edges do not cook, and no bowl of water in the sink.
- ✅ Fan on the lid - blows room air down across the meat, so it thaws evenly without heating it
- ✅ 10 to 40 minute timer - set it and get on with the rest of dinner
- ✅ Clear lid - keeps dust, flies and curious pets off raw meat while it sits out
- ✅ Rechargeable by USB-C - no cord across the counter, a full charge takes 2 to 3 hours
- ✅ 10.6 in square tray - holds two steaks, a few chicken thighs or a bag of shrimp in one layer
How it works
- Lift the clear lid off the tray. The fan unit rides on the lid.
- Put the frozen meat on the tray in a single layer, out of its bag, lying flat so it touches the plate.
- Set the lid back on with the fan over the meat. Flick the small power switch on the side of the fan unit, then press start and set the timer if you like.
- Check it when the timer ends. Thin cuts are usually ready; thick cuts get a second run.
We ran one of our own ribeyes through it at home. It went on frozen solid and came off ready to season, juices pooled on the tray instead of in the sink.
What you get
One aluminum tray with a white food surface, one clear lid, one rechargeable fan unit with a digital display, one USB-C charging cable, and a leaflet. No wall adapter; the cable plugs into any USB-C charger you already have.
Size and fit
The tray is 10.6 x 10.6 in, the clear lid stands 3.3 in, and the box is about 4.9 in tall with the fan unit on. It weighs about 4.9 lb (2.2 kg) and holds 4.2 L, which is two steaks or four chicken thighs side by side.
Good to know
It is a fan on a tray, and that is the point: moving air thaws, still air insulates. It is not instant. Thick roasts and stacked pieces take longer than a single layer of chops, and a whole frozen chicken is not what this is for.
Food safety still applies: thaw, then cook, and do not leave raw meat out for hours. The tray and lid rinse clean; the fan unit does not go in water.
Questions
Does it really thaw faster than the counter? Yes. Still air insulates a frozen piece of meat; the fan keeps room air moving over it. Thin cuts are usually done in one timer cycle.
Is it hard to use? No. Lid off, meat on the tray, lid on, one button.
Does it heat the meat? No. It moves room air; there is no heating element, so the edges do not cook.
Does it have to be plugged in? No. The fan unit runs on its own rechargeable battery, about two hours of fan time per charge, and charges by USB-C in 2 to 3 hours.
How do I clean it after raw meat? Wash the tray and lid in warm soapy water. Wipe the fan unit with a damp cloth; never submerge it.
How long is delivery? Usually 1 to 2 weeks, allow up to 3, with tracking. Shipping across the US is free.

See It in Action
Lift the lid, set the frozen meat on the tray, put the lid back on and press the power button. The fan keeps room air moving over the meat until it is ready to cook.
